So you want to know more about good ol Dealer Dan eh? I’ll try and make this short and sweet.

First, the personal stuff. My real name is Graeme, and I was born in 1981. I’m from Scotland originally, and moved to Canada when I’m 16. I’m also known as “Scotsman”, although the gambling world knows me more as Dealer Dan. And don’t worry if you call me ‘Dan’ in correspondence – it happens often and I’m used to it and just roll with it. I’m married and have two kids, a boy and a girl.

As for business – I’ve been in internet marketing in some form or other since 1997. Really – I’ve did it all. I’ve did warez sites, porn sites, banner farms – hell I even ran wrestling websites. In 2002 I discovered the world of online poker, and played it pretty much semi-professionally for awhile. I also had a 9-5 job for the Government. After poker paid for my (annoyingly expensive) wedding, I decided to pursue it professionally and took a year off from my job to see if I could do it. Along the way I discovered there was a whole other world to online poker, that being the affiliate world.

I started up my first site – Ultimate Poker Bankroll – which was initially a bankroll building site and eventually a rakeback site, and everything grew from there. I got into other markets of online gambling like online casinos and bingo, before finally tackling sportsbooks. After a few months as an affiliate I realized the potential and quit my job to do this full-time.

I run a variety of sites outside of online gambling, however online gambling is my forte, and it’s what I enjoy the most. I run over 50 online gambling sites as of this writing – you can see my main ones in my portfolio.
